About CQJTU

In 1951, CQJTU was established in Chongqing, the biggest industrial and commercial center in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, under the direct administration of the central government. Jointly established by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government and the Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China, CQJTU stays true to its mission of cultivating engineering talents with high-quality running. Today, CQJTU has developed into a distinctive, multi-disciplinary research university, providing engineering, science, economics, management, literature, law, and art programs, with transportation engineering as a core focus.

Currently, CQJTU has three campuses: Nan’an, Western (Chongqing) Science City, and Daping, offering doctoral programs for 4 first-level disciplines, 3 postdoctoral programs, master programs for 16 first-level disciplines, 13 national first-class undergraduate programs and 38 Chongqing first-class undergraduate programs, nearly 2200 faculty and staff including more than 40 international faculty members from 14 countries teaching English, major courses, and conduct research.

1. Job Type

Teaching position.

2. Job Content

a. At most 18 teaching periods per week for language teaching.

b. 4 teaching periods per week as the English tutor.

c. Attend the English Saloon every two weeks.

3.Work Time

Hired applicants will start working at CQJTU from the 2023 spring semester.

? Job Qualifications

1.Requirements of Age & Health

Be under the age of 60 with a good health condition and no criminal record.

2.Requirements of Education & Work experience

Have a master's or doctoral degree with more than 3-year language teaching experience.

3.Compliance of Law & regulations

Shall abide by the relevant laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China.

4.Work responsibility

Be responsible and work a full-time job during the contract period.
