On the afternoon of June 3, 2020, Chongqing Jiaotong University held an online video conference on cooperation in running schools with National Aviation University, Ukraine. Professor Arthur, Vice President of National Aviation University, Ukraine; Wang Chengxi, Deputy Director of the Admission Committee, person in charge of the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, School of Civil Engineering and Design, School of Environmental Safety and Engineering Technology, School of Network Safety, Computer and Software Engineering and the International Department and Dean of the International Institute of Higher Education; Tian Zhen, Vice Dean; Yi Zhijian, Vice President of Chongqing Jiaotong University as well as the head administrators in charge of the Division of International Cooperation and Exchange, School of Aviation, School of Civil Engineering, School of Traffic and Transportation, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, School of Information Technology, School of Materials and School of Economics and Management attended the conference. The conference was chaired by Mao Mingyong, Director of the Division of International Cooperation and Exchange.

Director Mao Mingyong and Ivanov Oleksander, Director of the International Department of National Aviation University, Ukraine, respectively introduced the Chinese and Ukrainian attendants. Yi Zhijian and Jason Goldman·Arthur, the vice presidents of the two universities, respectively gave brief introductions about their universities and expressed the will of actively supporting and vigorously advancing all-round cooperation between the two universities. Wang Chengxi, President of the International Institute of Higher Education, introduced the detailed procedures for application, schooling mode, majors and textbooks used in Sino-foreign cooperative education institutions. The administrators in charge of specific schools attending the conference also gave brief introductions of their schools, and also expressed the will to cooperate with each other in fields of talent cultivation, teacher and student exchange, scientific research and joint building of laboratories.

Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, some normal international exchanges have been interrupted. This video conference on cooperation in running schools is a beneficial attempt of the Division of International Cooperation and Exchange to break the ice and explore new modes of international exchange.
